NEW HOPES & ASPIRATIONS OF A SVCEian
A new year and new Hopes and aspirations as touched a special chord in the hearts and minds of a SVCEian. Our vision and persona has ignited new optimism among almost all segment of students and faculty community. There is renewed hope that a new resurgent SVCE will be built over time, bringing pride and dignity to all. The spirit embodied in "SabkeSaath, SabkaVikas" indeed holds a promise of inclusive and participatory growth.
This is potentially a turning point in the history and an opportunity to collectively write a new destiny for our Institution. SVCE is committed to realising the Vision of a dynamic, prosperous and self-reliant individual with stronger moral values and acumen to face challenges of the future Growing India. It is your institution's avowed mission to be a world-class educational institution serving national priorities and to go beyond the confines of academics to create enduring value for the larger Industrial requirement. It is with this strength of conviction in your institution's Values and Vitality that we once again pledge SVCE's fullest support to the cutting edge Research and Development innovation centre for fulfilling our shared goal of our dreams.
As in earlier years, I would like to present to you the highlights of your Institutions robust growth story.
SVCE has once again won many awards this year and they are- THE INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVERS AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION, (THAILAND), THE INDO-NEPAL FRIENDSHIP & ECONOMIC CO-OPERATION AWARD (NEPAL), RAJIV GANDHI GOLD STAR AWARD (NEW DELHI), SRI RAJENDRANATH MOOKERJEE MEMORIAL AWARD (HYDRABAD), ALL INDIAN ENTERPRISES DRIVING GROWTH AND EXCELLENCE THROUGH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AWARD- EDGE 2014 (for INNOVATIVE DESIGN) MUMBAI.
Apart from being the leading educator, your institution has continued to be a clear market leader in placements this year also with a record 185 companies coming in just 25 months with a repeated visits by top 100 leading companies like IBM, Coco cola, Ericson, Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, HSBC, Accenture, Aptean, Unisys, Maven and list goes on…. SVCE has become successful in creating a SVCEian with multi-talent as required by corporates.
SVCE continues in creating a sustainable and eco-friendly physical and social infrastructure which has been our goal which should also lay the foundation for long-term growth whilst meeting some of the critical needs of present day. And our first step towards starting solar energy has been a successful venture and solar toys started producing the 40 kva of power. Secondly we are able recycle the rain water through harvesting to the extent of 18 million litres of water every year and also planted around 1000 trees in and around local nearby villages.
Your institution's other associated value chains have created and produced a robust growth and results this year. SVCS (CBSE syllabus) has produced 100% results (which it is achieving from beginning of its inception I.e.2010) but along with it has also produced all 100% with First classes. SVPHS (STATE syllabus) has produced 100% results for 8th consecutive year, and SV pre-university (SVPUC) has produced 100% result for second consecutive year in commerce. The collective commitment by all students and faculty as provided the inspiration to attain newer heights for the success of your institution in becoming a world class educator.
It is my belief that one's future is created by one's acts of today. To do that we have established an innovative and world class R&D centre which is headed by elite scientists and your institution has earmarked around 20 million rupees for this purpose. In addition to earlier MOU's we have further entered in various Memorandum of understanding with prestigious organisations – 1. VIRTUAL ACEDEMY OF ANCIENT KNOWLEDGE SYSYTEMS (VAAK) MYSORE, to decipher the ancient myths of science into real time science. 2. DOMALCS ENGINEERING (P) LTD, BANGALORE. 3. NATIONAL DESIGN AND RESEARCH FORUM (NDRF), for developing designs. 4. KARNATAKA HYBRID MICRO DEVICES LTD, BANGALORE.
Unfortunately we live today in challenging and uncertain times. The Nepal as a country has seen their worst natural crisis which continues to be in a tailspin with lot of deaths. You the SVCEians made them comfortable and feel secured here and said them by rendering your hand of divine service to them and stood by them, which shows that you the SVCEians will stand at any difficult times. And I should personally appreciate the effort of each and every SVCEian in this regard and get my applauds.
Institution's challenges require a quality of growth that creates, captures and retains larger value in Indian growth story. It requires organisations to consciously strengthen value chains that extend to the country's rural areas and backward regions and we are starting a residential school in rural place called Sidlagatta with capacity of 600 students.
Your institution is privileged to be able to pursue a path less travelled to create multiple drivers of growth supported by elite people and an abiding vision to put work before worship. It is our collective aspiration that your institution should be one such National Champion in the service of the Nation. In this journey, I draw strength from Team SVCEians and from their dedication and commitment. In deed the journey has started and there are many miles to go.
As I conclude, may I on behalf of the Board of your institution once again thank you, for your continued support, encouragement and magnanimous work done by all of you students and faculty during the year.
